Opening at MVT: Sarah Ruhl's 'Stage Kiss'

"A Kiss isn’t just a kiss. After seeing this one, you may never look at another one on stage or screen the same way again."
San Francisco Chronicle

"Stage Kiss doesn’t end until it touches the heart...and makes you happy."
– San Francisco Examiner

Art imitates Life.  Life imitates Art.

This is a hilarious story where art imitates life and life imitates art. When two actors with a history are thrown together as romantic leads in a forgotten 1930s melodrama, they quickly lose touch with reality as the story onstage follows them offstage. Romantic comedy and backstage farce are whipped together in this lively comedy about what happens when lovers share a stage kiss—or when actors share a real one. A Hawaii premiere.
